<p>The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a label laminate (1). The method comprises unwinding (11) a first material layer, unwinding (12) a second material layer, coating (15) the first material layer (2,4) with at least one water based adhesive layer (6), supporting the coated first material layer (2,4) by a metal belt while heating said at least one water based adhesive layer by said metal belt (10) in order to dry said at least one water based adhesive layer (6), and laminating the first material layer (2,4) having at least one water based adhesive layer together with the second material layer (2, 4) in order to form the label laminate (1).
