PURPOSE: A life shelter device is provided to safely escape residents in an urgent situation regardless of a place. CONSTITUTION: A life shelter device comprises handrails(110), an elevator case(200), an elevator(300), and a drive unit. The handrails are formed in one side of balcony(100) formed in the each floor of a building. The elevator case is formed in the outside of the handrail. The bottom of the elevator case is opened and is fixed to the upper and lower parts of the handrail. The elevator is installed inside the elevator case. The drive unit descends the elevator to the outside of the handrail.
