In order to realise the method, waste water is treated with magnesium-containing material consisting of magnesium carbonate (51.62-52.84%) and magnesium hydroxide (46.13-47.28%). The material is crushed to grain size between 3 and 10 mm. Complete removal of chromium (III) ions from the waste water takes place during phase contact for 20 to 30 minutes. The method increases the rate of the process of purifying waste water from chromium (III) ions while maintaining high degree of purification, as well as removal of ion (III) and copper (II) ions from water. ^ EFFECT: invention widens the range of efficient and cheap reagents used to treat waste water. ^ 3 tbl, 3 ex |
