There is provided a video distribution system in which a process from the port forward function setting of the router (3) to the sub domain name allocation and setting in the DDNS server (7) is automatically performed when a network camera (1) is connected, thereby enabling access to the network camera (1) by the domain name from a mobile telephone (8). Moreover, when the sub domain name can easily be guessed by a third person, a report to prompt modification of the setting is sent to the user, there by increasing the security concerning the domain name. |
