<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP system stereoscopic image display device which prevents the resolution of an element image group projected from a projector from being deteriorated and which does not produce a false visual area. <P>SOLUTION: The stereoscopic image display device 3 is equipped with: a convex lens (light condensing optical system) 31 condensing light from the image of the element image group projected by the projector (projecting device) 2 and formed on the same plane, or collimating it to parallel beams; a first lens group 33 constituted by arranging a plurality of convex lenses (first element optical lens system) L1 condensing the light from the projector 2 in an array state on the same plane; and a second lens group 32 constituted by arranging a plurality of convex lenses (second element optical lens systems) L2 corresponding to the respective convex lenses L1 and emitting the light from the image of the respective element images only to the corresponding convex lens L1 in an array state on the same plane where the image is formed by the element image group.
