PURPOSE: A steam generator is provided to supply steam stably while cooking. CONSTITUTION: A steam generator includes a housing unit forming the outward appearance of a steam generator, a boiler unit(120) generating steam, a discharge unit(135) formed on one side of the boiler unit to discharge steam, a heater unit formed on the inside of the housing unit and arranged adjacently to the boiler unit to heat the boiler unit and to generate steam inside the boiler unit, and a mesh unit(150) installed to the boiler unit to surround the discharge unit and provided with a precise hole to pass steam.
