PURPOSE: An ascending and descending cushion is provided to facilitate movement and keeping thereof and to easily ascend and descend the cushion with a small power source. CONSTITUTION: An ascending and descending cushion comprises: a base unit(100) which is closely fixed to the floor side; a cushion unit(200) which is formed bigger than the base unit; a foldable elevating unit(300) which is installed between the base unit and cushion unit and can be used as a cushion; and a flexible spring tube cover which is equipped with a foldable elevating unit and protects the foldable elevating unit from the external interference.
