PURPOSE: An apparatus for compensating deterioration of an AMOLED is provided to reduce afterimage due to image deterioration and image sticking by compensating the deterioration of an pixel. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for compensating deterioration of an AMOLED, a switching control unit(300) is synchronized with a pixel driving unit(100) and generates a switching control signal to compensate the deterioration of an image. A switch circuit is connected between the anode of the AMOLED and a deterioration compensation voltage terminal and is turned on/off according to a switching control signal, it applies a deterioration compensation voltage to the anode of the AMOLED when being turned on.
