<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface mounting machine which can reduce the burden on a worker required for maintenance effectively while enhancing the production efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The surface mounting machine includes a sensor for detecting the degree of vacuum in an air conduction passage provided between a nozzle for sucking a component and a negative pressure supply means, and a means for determining whether a component is sucked to the nozzle during the mounting operation by comparing a detection value of the degree of vacuum sensor with a predetermined threshold α. A control means acquires the detection values of the degree of vacuum sensor under a state where the component is actually sucked to the nozzle and a state where the component is not sucked to the nozzle, at a predetermined timing, as the sensor values β2 and β1 when the component is present and not present and resets the threshold α based on both sensor values. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
