PURPOSE: A tunnel lamp controlling apparatus is provided to control possessively an LED tunnel lamp based on a received vehicle sensing signal, a fire sensing signal, and the intensity of illumination signal. CONSTITUTION: An LED tunnel lamp(30) is installed inside tunnel and senses fire break out of the inside of tunnel through a fire detector. A car detector(23) is installed in the entrance and exit of tunnel and sense a vehicle. A controller(40) receives a fire sensing signal and a vehicle sensing signal with the car detector and fire detector and controls the LED tunnel lamp by the vehicle sensing signal and fire sensing signal. The LED tunnel lamp and the controller can be proceeded the two-way communications through the communications unit to the wireless or the wire. The controller transfers the fire sensing signal to an external communications network.
