<p>The process of manufacturing solid particles from a liquid or semi-liquid composition in an installation, comprises producing a stream of composition entering a top of a reaction tube and then circulating within the reaction tube from top to bottom, and supplying a cryogenic liquid to the installation for creating a cold gas stream rising co-currently against bottom of the reaction tube. The gas circulation is carried out by supplying the cryogenic liquid in the upper part of the installation, and by spraying to the bottom of the installation outside the reaction tube. The gas present at the top of the reaction tube is re-directed down the installation by the arrival of cryogenic liquid by Venturi effect. A deflection unit is provided in downstream of the reaction tube for the deflection of the stream of particles obtained at the exit of the reaction tube between the output of the reaction tube and a recovery unit. An independent claim is included for an installation for manufacturing solid particles from a liquid or semi-liquid composition.</p> |
