Method, device and computer program for determining information derived from at least a first, a second and a third parameter

The present invention concerns a method for determining a value derived from at least a first, a second and a third parameters which enable a mobile station to identify which resources of a wireless telecommunication network are allocated to the mobile station by a base station. The method comprises the steps of:
- allocating resources to the mobile station,
- determining a couple of first and second parameters which correspond to the allocated resources, the determined couple having a rank among the couples which correspond to possible allocated resources,
- obtaining the value which is at least equal to a sum of the number of possible values that can take the third parameter for each couple of first and second parameters which has a lower rank than the determined couple of first and second parameters,
- transferring the determined value to the mobile station.
