SAFETY VALVE FOR A PACKAGING CONTAINER

The excess pressure valve (10) comprises a stud-like rigid support body (11) with circumferential raised edge area whose top side can be connected to a packing web forming an inside of the container. A valve membrane (22) closes the gas port (19) in the support body up to a certain excess pressure in the container and forms a duct for the outflowing gas when the excess pressure is exceeded. The valve membrane is connected non-detachable to the support body. At least one indentation (15) is formed in the centre (12) near the port in the support body. the indentation can carry a logo or trade mark device.
