The tubular article has an inner layer and an outer layer made of polymeric material with elastic properties, and a single or multilayered support carrier embedded between the inner layer and the outer layer, where the support carrier is formed as a threaded structure made of textile fibers and as a braided fabric. The support carrier has a fixed thread (11) provided with low tearing strength and cladding threads (9, 10) for enclosing the fixed thread, where the cladding threads exhibit high tearing strength than the fixed thread. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a tubular article.
