<p>The present invention relates to a molybdenum metal powder having a specific surface area of from 0.5 to 2 m 2 /g, a flowability of ‰¥ 140 sec per 50 g of powder, and an oxygen content of from 0.07 to 0.5 %. The present invention further relates to a molybdenum metal powder obtainable by reduction of molybdenum-containing precursors in a moving bed, characterized in that the reduction is carried out by means of an inflowing atmosphere containing water vapor and hydrogen and having a dew point of ‰¥ +20°C on entry into the reaction space.</p> |
