<p>The method involves actuating load handling device e.g. clamping device (4) such as ball clamp or stone clamp, by an actuating device (6) e.g. mini lever, which comprises a neutral position, and two switching movement possibilities (10a, 10b, 20a, 20b, 21a, 21b, 22), which serves as a closing activity for closing the clamping device, and as an opening activity for opening the clamping device. Release operation of the actuation device in one of the possibilities and opening actuation of the actuating device are enabled for opening the clamping unit within an enabling switching period. An independent claim is also included for an industrial truck with load handling device.</p> |
