The ventilation system (1) has an inlet (3) and an outlet (5). A closing element (7) is opened in a functional position and is locked in another functional position. The closing element is arranged in the former functional position in such a manner that it closes the inlet. The closing element is arranged in third functional position in such a manner that it opens the inlet, outlet and flow channel.
