FLIP-FLOP DETECTING AND CORRECTING SOFT-ERROR

PURPOSE: A flip-flop capable of detecting and correcting a soft error is provided to detect and correct all of an internal soft error, an external soft error, and a PVT soft error, thereby reducing power consumption and manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: A delay unit(10) delays input data and a clock signal. A master latch(20) generates first output data by receiving the input data, the delayed input data, and the clock signal. A shadow latch(30) generates second output data by receiving the delayed input data and the delayed clock signal. An error signal generating unit(50) generates an error signal when first output data is different from second output data. A detection pulse generating unit(40) generates a detection signal for activating the error signal generating unit.
