The runner (1) i.e. trolley, has a rotatable roller (5) with a roller shaft (7), where a hanger body (9) is secured at the roller shaft. An overhead eyelet (13) is provided below the roller. An intervention piece (17) of an object (3) to be transported, is in the form of a hook and is engaged in the overhead eyelet to attach an object to the runner. An entrainment unit of an entrainment device is engaged at a driving portion (19) so as to drive the runner along a guide rail (23). The intervention piece is attached at a shackle portion (15) of the overhead eyelet. An identification unit e.g. radio frequency identification chip, is attached at a bar of the hanger body. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an overhead conveyor plant comprising guide rails (2) a method for attaching an engagement piece of an object to a roll runner.
