NOVEL USE OF RUNX2 PROTEIN

PURPOSE: A composition containing Runx2 protein for promoting estrogen expression or secretion is provided to treat or prevent estrogen deficiency syndrome. CONSTITUTION: A composition for promoting estrogen expression or secretion contains Runx2 protein or an expression-construct of a nucleotide sequence encoding Runx2 protein as an active ingredient. Runx2 protein has an amino acid sequence of sequence number 1. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating estrogen deficiency syndrome contains: pharmaceutically effective amount of Runx2 protein or the expression-construct; and pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
