PURPOSE: A composition using an extracellular vesicle for preventing or treating inflammatory diseases and cancer is provided to suppress IL-6 secretion and carcinogenesis. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing or treating inflammatory diseases contains an extracellular vesicle derived from fermentation foods as an active ingredient. A composition for preventing or treating cancer contains the extracellular vesicle as an active ingredient. A vaccine for preventing or treating inflammatory diseases contains the extracellular vesicle as an active ingredient. A method for treating or preventing the diseases comprises a step of administering the extracellular vesicle to a mammal.
