PURPOSE: A display substrate and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to offer a display substrate in order to simplify the manufacturing processes. CONSTITUTION: A display substrate comprises a first semiconductor light shielding pattern(210) which blocks visible light and penetrates infrared ray, a first switching element which includes a first semiconductor pattern, a first source electrode and a first drain electrode, and a first gate electrode, a second semiconductor light shielding pattern which blocks visible light and penetrates infrared ray, and a first sensing element which senses the infrared ray.
