PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to secure enough airtightness and to improve the dispersion of airtightness by preventing the degradation of the sealing force of a gasket adhering closely to the outer circumference of a cap assembly. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery(100) comprises: an electrode assembly(110) in which two different electrodes and a separator interposed between the two different electrodes are wound; a can(120) accommodating the electrode assembly; a cap assembly(130) assembled on the upper part of the can accommodating the electrode assembly; and a gasket(140) which is interposed between the cap assembly and the upper part of the can and maintains the insulation and the sealing between the cap assembly and the can. An auxiliary sealing member(150) is included in the gasket to enhance the airtightness of the cap assembly and the can. |
