PURPOSE: A pillar for a guardrail is provided to block various kinds of foreign materials, bugs or animals from entering a body. CONSTITUTION: A body(110) is fixed to the ground. The body supports GR(GuardRail) with a fixing member. The coupling groove of a cover(120) is formed on the lower end of the cover. The coupling groove is inserted into the upper part of the body. The coupling groove shuts tightly the inside of the body. A connecting part(122) is protruded from the upper end of the cover. The cover is an elastic material of rubber or plastic.
