PURPOSE: An insulating material providing structural reliability and a construction member manufactured therefrom are provided to enable a variety of construction members to be manufactured since poly alkylidene terephthalate foam has high strength and elasticity. CONSTITUTION: An insulating material consists of an insulating board. The insulating board is manufactured by reactive extrusion of polyester. The insulating board is manufactured by foaming of polyester. The density of the insulating board is within a range of 30 to 80kg/m3. The polyester includes polyalkylidene terephthalate. The polyalkylidene terephthalate includes recycled polyethylene terephthalate.
