PURPOSE: An electrolytic cell cleaning method of an water ionizer is provided to clean the electrolytic cell based on the water discharge quantity and the usage frequency of ionized water. CONSTITUTION: An electrolytic cell cleaning method of an water ionizer comprises the following steps: detecting the discharge of ionized water; detecting the water discharge quantity of the ionized water; varying the voltage by the water discharge quantity of the ionized water; and supplying the varied voltage to each electrode plate for cleaning the electrolytic cell. |
