PURPOSE: A multi protocol adapter system and a method for converting data thereof are provided to be applied to a ubiquitous environment by supplying a communications interface with a plurality of heterogeneous apparatuses and the transmission of standard and nonstandard data. CONSTITUTION: A connection recognition unit(211) recognizes the connection of a plurality of heterogeneous apparatuses. A session management unit(212) senses the input signal of a plurality of the heterogeneous apparatuses and controls a connecting session. A service plug and play unit(213) controls a plurality of the heterogeneous apparatuses in a service unit which a plurality of heterogeneous apparatuses provides. A data conversion unit(222) converts the data received from a plurality of the heterogeneous apparatuses. A user information management unit(223) manages the user identification received through a RFID(Radio Frequency Identification).
