Transparent pockets for insertion into ring- clip books are formed from blanks of synthetic plastic material provided with two rows of holes 2, 3, 4, 5 in opposite edges. Two blanks are folded and the holes are threaded in pins of the welding device so that the blanks are interleaved to form four thicknesses of material adjacent the area of the holes. The material is welded along an edge 12 and adjacent to the holes, the centre weld being formed by a tool which acts as a cutting-off tool so that the two blanks may be separated to form two pockets. |
