The kit has a pipe connection (120) attaching a gas water heat exchanger (110) to an exhaust gas outlet of a heating boiler. An exhaust stack (130) attaches the heat exchanger to an exhaust line. A pressure switching device (140) generates an input signal as an exhaust gas pressure resting against the pipe connection, and an output signal. The output signal disrupts operation of the boiler and generates a warning signal if the exhaust gas pressure at the pipe connection departingly exceeds a predetermined reference value, which lies above an allowed duration, for a duration.
