The device has an angular clutching assembly (20) integrated to a seat i.e. front seat, where the assembly authorizes pivoting of a backrest of the seat from a normal utilization state to access state to access another seat i.e. rear seat. A disengaging stop finger (24) is displaced between a rest stable position and a retractable position, when a locking unit is in an unlocking position. The finger is in contact with a fixed stop (21) for freely tilting the backrest from the utilization state to access state, when the finger is in the retractable position.
