Device, for controlling a vehicle locking system and a vehicle intrusion alarm, comprising at least one locking actuator (1) having an electric motor (3) arranged to drive at least one locking element at least into a locked or an unlocked position. The locking actuator has means (4,5,6,7,8,A,B) to provide the electronic control unit (ECU) (5) of an intrusion alarm with a first signal when the, or each, locking element is in a locked position and with a second signal when the, or each, locking element is in an unlocked position. The device comprises means to sense a characteristic of the first and second signals and means to enable the operation of the intrusion alarm if the characteristic of one of the signals is above a predetermined threshold value and/or means to disable the operation of an intrusion alarm if the characteristic of one of the signals is below a predetermined threshold value or vice versa. |
