The present invention relates to a reusable and washable multilayer liquid absorbent textile product, such as a diaper or training pants, which comprises an inner layer for the skin contact, an outer layer attached to said inner layer and a liquid absorbent layer secured between these two layers. Said inner layer forms front, back and crotch sections connected together, whereas the front section and the back section of the inner layer form a waist portion and openings for the legs. At least part of the front section, part of the back section, and part of the crotch section are covered by a liquid absorbent layer. The outer layer is formed at least partly from a textile material, the inner side of which facing the inner layer is covered with a breathable and liquid impermeable elastic membrane layer bonded to said textile material. |
