<p>The tool-kit has a guide-catheter (10) comprising a sheath (12) including a distal end, a proximal end (40) and an internal lumen (42) opened at the distal and proximal ends. A hemostatic valve (14) selectively fills the internal lumen of the guide-catheter at an input end. The guide-catheter presents a constant diameter in a region receiving the valve. A frangible valve is mounted at the proximal end of the guide-catheter, and is fitted between two parts of the frangible valve, where dissociation of the parts of the frangible valve provides free access to the guide-catheter.</p> |
