The cover has a plasticized sheet (1) provided with a rectangular slit (6), and a fabric hem (2) formed around the cover. The fabric hem comprises four slots (7) formed at the top and the bottom of the cover for allowing the release of an elastic part (3) of the fabric hem, in order to tighten four corners of the cover by utilizing buttonholes (5) for adjusting the cover with a seat of a shopping cart. The buttonholes are provided at elastic part outlets (4). The width and the length of the cover are 54 cm and 86 cm, respectively.
