The plate (5) has a support unit for supporting a set of batteries (4) and intended to maintain the batteries in spaced position. The support unit is intended to become deformed under an effect of a predetermined threshold effort transmitted to an electric energy storage assembly (3) so as to allow batteries to bring closer to the assembly. The support unit is partially made of deformable material. Openings are designed to cooperate with the batteries. The support unit is intended to permit installation of the batteries in a staggered manner.
