VIRULENT PHAGES INHIBITING THE GROWTH OF CRONOBACTER SAKAZAKII

PURPOSE: A virulent phage having an effects of suppressing Cronobacter sakazakii growth is provided to control the growth of Cronobacter sakazakii and to prevent foot poisoning. CONSTITUTION: A virulent phage ES2(deposit number 2) or EI-1(deposit number KCTC 11613BP) has an effect of suppressing Cronobacter sakazakii growth. The virulent phage is isolated from bovine and porcine feces. Cronobacter sakazakii is a bacterium which causes Cronobacter sakazakii.
