PURPOSE: A tunnel traffic situation information system is provided to accurately figure out traffic situation information including a number of vehicles driving through a tunnel, vehicle speed, driving direction, accident existence and nonexistence, and traffic jam etc., and to immediately check images inside the above tunnel in case of car accidents. CONSTITUTION: A multi sensor module is laid on or attached to a road inside a tunnel, and includes a terrestrial magnetism sensor recognizing vehicles moving on the road. A sensor node(10) includes a sensor communications module A transmitting information detected through the multi sensor module. A gateway(20) includes a sensor communications module B receiving information detected from the sensor communications module A and a complex wireless communications module transmitting the information received through the sensor communications module B. An operating module computes at least one traffic situation information among a number of vehicles, vehicle models, vehicle speeds, driving directions, accident existence and traffic jam information, on the basis of a wireless communications module receiving the information transmitted from the complex wireless communications module and the information received through the wireless communications module. A traffic situation information output module outputs the traffic situation information, on a real time basis, calculated in the operating module in a display unit(35). A image scanning module operates a video acquiring means(36) for filming the whole area of the tunnel inside, and includes an image scanning module obtaining images of the tunnel inside and vehicles if a traffic situation information data value calculated in the operating module is included in a predetermined critical criterion range. |
