<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic printing method of on-board developing type, which is excellent in on-board developability and inking property. <P>SOLUTION: An original plate for lithographic printing plate, which has, on a supporting body, an image recording layer to be removed by an printing ink, a damping water or both of them, is made to contact with an aqueous solution containing a hydrophobic organic compound and a water-soluble polymer compound, after the image recording layer of an exposure part is cured by imagewise exposure.
