<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a split type retainer for a tapered roller bearing suppliable at low cost, as improvement of a conventional one yielded by means of press working involving various problems in the course of fabrication and setting-in, which may result in a higher cost. <P>SOLUTION: This split type retainer of tapered roller bearing consisting of a number of segments 21 which are combined annularly, is configured so that common wires 27 and 28 are threaded through all segments 21 to form a string 33 of segments, wherein the string 33 of segments is formed annularly by tightening them 27 and 28 and coupling together their ends directly or indirectly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
