<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods for the identification and isolation of novel MHC class II epitopes derived from the cancer antigen, NY ESO-1. <P>SOLUTION: The MHC class II epitopes, which are a novel cancer peptide derived from NY-EsO-1, are recognized by CD4+ T lymphocytes in an HLA class II restricted manner, in particular HLA-DR or HLA-DP restricted. The products of the nucleic acid sequence gene encoding at least one isolated NY-ESO-1 HLA class I restricted T cell cancer peptides are promising candidates for immunotherapeutic strategies for the prevention, treatment, and diagnosis of patients with cancer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
