<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind turbine rotor blade improving buckling strength against a load in the edge direction, increasing the safety factor of the buckling strength close to the safety factor of material strength and further reducing the weight. <P>SOLUTION: The wind turbine rotor blade 5 includes an outer skin 11 formed of a fiber reinforced plastic, beams 15, and trailing edge sandwich materials 14 arranged closer to a trailing edge 18 side than the trailing edge ends of the beams 15.
