PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide type electronic device wherein a display-side case slides opposed to an operation-side case and is tilt opened. SOLUTION: The slide type electronic device includes the operation-side case, a sliding section, and the display-side case superposed slidably on the operation-side case by the sliding section. The slide section includes a slide plate having one end rotatably pivoted on the display-side case, two elastic members installed symmetrically at both ends of the slide plate, and a rotary supporting mechanism having both ends rotatably pivoted on the operation-side case and display-side case, wherein both ends of each of the elastic members are fixed to the other end of the slide plate and the operation-side case respectively. When the display-side case slides on the operation-side case, the slide plate is driven by the display-side case to slide and also to curve the elastic members, thereby accumulating resilient force in the elastic members.
