PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dew condensation to an imaging surface of an imaging element during a stopped period of a cooling operation. SOLUTION: This cooled type imaging apparatus 1 is provided with: the imaging element 15; a Peltier element 17 which cools the rear surface on the opposite side of the imaging surface 15a of the imaging element 15; a dew condensation guiding member 22 which is arranged outside an imaging area 15b of the imaging surface 15a of the imaging element 15; a sealed chamber 100 which incorporates the imaging element 15, the Peltier element 17, and the dew condensation guiding member 22; and a heat conduction member 18 which is connected to the Peltier element 17 to conduct heat between the outside of the sealed chamber 100 and the Peltier element 17.
