METHOD FOR TESTING COPING AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING COPING USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a coping which fits with an abutment tooth model more appropriately relating to a method for testing a coping and a method of manufacturing a coping using the same.

SOLUTION: The method for testing a coping includes: applying a molten viscous thermosetting resin 3 onto the inner surface of the cylindrical coping 2 whose lower surface opens; covering the abutment tooth model 1 formed artificially from the open lower surface with the coping 2; heating it; cooling it; removing the coping 2 from the thermosetting resin 3 adhering to the abutment tooth model 1 surface; and three-dimensionally measuring the thickness of thermosetting resin 2 adhering on the abutment tooth model 1.
