<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can prevent dew condensation of a contact glass without newly arranging an exclusive function member such as a dehumidifying heater. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 has: the contact glass 31 for mounting a document on an upper face; a light source 43 for irradiating the document with light in order to read images of a document surface; an optical scanner 40 for moving the light source 43 for optically scanning the whole document surface; a casing 32 having the contact glass 31 on the upper face and incorporating the light source 43 and the optical scanner 40; and a reading control part 33 for moving the light source 43 with the optical scanner 40 while lighting the light source 43 in a time period other than a time period of reading operation of the images of the document surface and increasing a temperature of the inside of the casing 32. Thereby, the inside of the casing 32 arranging the contact glass 31 is warmed with the light source 43 for reading the images of the document surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
