PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating apparatus capable of significantly improving startability of a compressing means, in the refrigerating apparatus obtaining a supercritical pressure on a high pressure side. SOLUTION: In this refrigerating apparatus in which a refrigerant circuit 1 is composed of a compressor 11, a gas cooler 46, main reducing means 62A, 62B, and evaporators 63A, 63B, and obtaining the supercritical pressure on the high pressure side, a high-pressure discharge pipe 42 of the compressor 11 is provided with a refrigerant regulator 91 having a check valve 90 composed of a lead valve inside to keep the pressure on the high pressure side of the refrigerant circuit 1.
