The present invention describes a new combination or association of pharmacologically active substances and/or non-medicamentous treatments for the treatment of chronic systemic diseases such as cancer. According to the present invention, the combination or association of substances and/or non-medicamentous treatments is used for treating cancer, cancer-associated clinical problems and adverse collateral effects of substances and/or treatments used to combat this disease. The components of the combination or association of substances, the biological response modifier (a proteic aggregate of magnesium ammonium phospholinoleate-palmitoleate anhydride) and at least one substance and/or treatment with antineoplastic properties can be administered together, simultaneously, successively or sequentially in a suitable form, according to the chemical properties of these substances and the most suitable procedures, in the most effective dosages and uses for therapeutic purposes. |
