The lip sealing arrangement comprises a groove (1) having a groove bottom (2) and two opposite groove walls (3), where a bar (4) is inserted in the groove. The bar is supported against the groove wall or the groove bottom of the sealing lips (5) which is made of acrylate natural rubber. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a steam iron with water tank; and (2) a method for producing a lip sealing arrangement.
