<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a wire harness that has a structure with a joint part of a protector not protruded outside and prevents deterioration of joint strength or improves joint strength at a jointing part. <P>SOLUTION: A sheet-like member 14 is wound around an outer peripheral surface of a given part of an electric wire flux 12 of a wire harness 1, both side parts 141, 142 of the sheet-like member 14 are overlapped on the outer peripheral surface of the given part of the electric wire flux 12, and at least a part of the overlapped part of the sheet-like member 14 is pressurized and is subjected to ultrasonic welding with a jig 5 arranged between an outer peripheral surface of the given part of the electric wire flux 12 and an inner peripheral surface of the overlapped part (both side parts 141, 142) of the sheet-like member 14 and a pressing member (horn 6) of an ultrasonic welder to form a protector 13 made of the sheet-like member 14 on the outer peripheral surface of the given part of the electric wire flux 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
