<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for generating page-described data, in which both image data generated in a plate-making process and image data generated in a printing process are inspected suitably in such an environment that the plate-making process is separated from the printing process even when the versions of RIP (raster image processing) software are different from each other, and also to provide a program and a data format. <P>SOLUTION: The method for generating page-described data comprises the steps of: acquiring plate-making image data D2 and a plate-making image forming condition D1 to be used in RIP treatment on the basis of the plate-making image data D2 when outputted to a digital printing machine 40; acquiring a proof-reading image forming condition D3 to be used in RIP treatment on the basis of the acquired plate-making image data D2 when outputted to a proof-reading machine 26; generating proof-reading image data D4 by RIP treatment on the basis of the acquired plate-making image data D2 and proof-reading image forming condition D3; and generating the page-described data on the basis of the plate-making image forming condition D1, the plate-making image data D2, the proof-reading image forming condition D3 and the proof-reading image data D4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
